Methods used to Gather the survey results

– Online Survey using jotforms.

  • Survey results produced a higher success rate than other means of gaining statistics.
    • 92.30 % of clients who filled online survey were currently clean and sober.
    • 61.54 % of clients who filled online survey claimed ZERO relapses.
  • Surveys were anonymous and clients left their names only if they choose too, most choose to leave names.
  • Emailed survey out to all past clients four times in the months of May and June 2018, via 2 different means .
  • Texted survey to all clients who didn’t respond to survey via email, or who did not provide a email contact upon admission

– Made Calls to all remaining clients that had not responded to survey.

– Used previous knowledge for clients whom didn’t respond (this is were we had the greatest percent increase in number of relapsed clients)

– Used Soberlink breathalyzer results for clients who are or were in past registered with us on soberlink as aftercare.

Results determined by the following:

  • Clients in which we were unable to contact, were marked sober based on previous knowledge if we KNEW they maintained sobriety for a minimum of 1 year. Clean result knowledge of less than 1 year were not included in results.
  • Clients in which we were unable to contact, were marked relapsed based on previous knowledge if we heard they relapsed or may have relapsed at ANY time after leaving treatment.  This increased our relapse percentage.

Ex 1: Client A was clean at 9 months however we had not heard from her after, client A was NOT included in results.

Ex 2: Client B we knew had a short relapse at month 9, but haven’t heard from since. Client B was included as relapsed in survey, although his relapse may had been only one week and he regained and maintained sobriety.

Ex 3: Client C, maintained there sobriety for 2 years, but then relapsed. Client C was marked as relapsed despite being clean at 1 year.
